The School for Adult Learning at the University of Indianapolis has been serving Indiana businesses for almost 60 years by providing a variety of continuing education and professional development programs. The Division for Professional Engagement offers noncredit programs designed for emerging and experienced leaders, professionals, business managers, career changers and entrepreneurs. The Division offers endorsement programs in professional skills, as well as supervisory and leadership development and leadership coaching programs.
Our portfolio of noncredit professional endorsement programs, workshops and institutes provides students and professionals with a targeted and flexible means to advance, change, or refocus careers and position organizations for future growth. Flexible formats ranging from intensive two-day courses designed for specific competencies to industry-specific programs covering a range of management careers are available year-round. We also partner with organizations to provide solutions-based custom learning solutions addressing specific business objectives.
The Supervisory Institute is an intensive two-day seminar that enhances the knowledge and skills needed by both new and experienced managers and supervisors. Participants leave with practical solutions to implement in their workplace. Supervisory Institute seminars are typically held three times a year.
If you are unable to attend either the Supervisory Institute or Leadership Development Series events, the Division for Professional Engagement provides businesses with highly specialized, in-house training that can be customized to meet your organization's specific needs.
UIndy offers noncredit training programs to complement the leadership and professional skills you need to enhance your career or succeed in your job. Using recognized subject matter experts, these programs range from half-day workshops to full-day and multi-day seminars.
The Division for Professional Engagement offers a wide selection of Endorsement Programs that offer short-term, professional development training for individuals who want to advance in their career or enter a new career. Designed for both high school and college graduates, these affordable opportunities will allow adults to complete Continuing Education Units, and, in some cases, prepare individuals to apply for industry certification.
