Are you an intellectually motivated student looking to showcase your knowledge and creativity?
Then consider UIndy’s Honors College. As an Honor College student, you’ll be challenged with demanding courses, independent study, and leadership and service opportunities. You’ll be given the opportunity to do research under the guidance of a faculty member and to exchange ideas with other outstanding students.
By fulfilling requirements of the program you’ll graduate with distinction, which will be part of your permanent record. A copy of your approved Honors project will be bound and housed in the permanent collection of the Krannert Memorial Library at the University of Indianapolis.
UIndy’s Honors College is open to students in all majors and schools, including those enrolled in pre-professional programs.
As an entering freshman, you’ll be invited to the Honors College if you‘re a Presidential Scholar, a Dean's Scholar, or Lugar Scholar with Distinguished Admission. You can make formal application for full admission in your second semester. Application also is open to transfer and current students with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 and at least 28 earned semester hours.
