Keys to Enrollment Success
Congratulations! We’re so excited for you to join the University of Indianapolis and our Greyhound community! Get ready to run with the Pack by completing the following key enrollment steps.
Celebrate Your Success

Pay Your Deposit
A $200 deposit secures your spot at UIndy and if you decide to live on campus, it will secure your housing spot too. Pay your deposit by going to your UIndy Applicant Portal beginning in December 2024. Early deposits will receive priority housing.
Claim Your UIndy Account
This portal will provide you with updates you need throughout the enrollment process. The username will be the first part of your UIndy email address. Passwords will be created during the enrollment process.
Complete Your Housing Application
Once you've paid your deposit you can complete your housing application. Our Living-Learning Communities (LLCs) can help build community within your residence hall. Ask your admissions counselor for more information about living on campus.
Register for New Hounds Day
This is the most important step on your journey. You can pick your day to attend if you register early. You will select a day to visit campus where you will register for classes and meet fellow students. You will be able to take a tour around campus and may be able to meet Grady the Greyhound!
New Hounds Day registration will be available beginning April 1, after you pay your $100 enrollment deposit.
Take Your Placement Assessments and Exams
Placement tests are required so that we can get you in the right classes in the fall and to set you up for success. Depending on your high school coursework, you may need to take placement assessments and exams for math, English and/or a global language. These need to be completed prior to attending your New Hounds Day, when you will receive your class schedule.

Complete Your Health Forms
The health forms are a required step to complete prior to starting classes. You will receive an email with the form and instructions.
Send UIndy your final transcript
Request final official high school and/or college transcripts or confirm your transcripts have been received by UIndy. If you took any AP tests, please send UIndy those offical scores as well.

Additional Steps for Transfer Students

- Be on the lookout for your transfer credit report via email and contact your transfer counselor if you have questions about your transfer credits.
