How To Make Sure You Receive Credit for LP Events

 

For Face-to-Face Events

  1. Download the UIndy app.
  2. SCAN IN: Open the app, click the camera button, and scan the QR code held by one of the identified LP student workers at the event. DO NOT enter the room until scanning in. Attendance slips will be provided if you have difficulty scanning the QR code.
  3. Show up on time!  You MUST arrive before the event starts and attend the entire event to receive credit.
  4. SCAN OUT: Scan the QR code again as you exit the event or drop off the completed LP attendance slip with one of the identified LP student workers.
  5. Make sure to check the UIndy app. It will indicate if you have successfully scanned in and scanned out.

You MUST scan in AND out of an event properly to receive LP credit.

For Virtual Events

  1. Virtual events are hosted on Google Meet or Zoom. Zoom registration links can be found at the end of the event description on the Events Calendar in My UIndy.
  2. For Zoom registrations, students must use their UIndy email address to register for the virtual event.
  3. Students must arrive on time to the virtual event. Tardiness may result in denied access to the event.
  4. Student audio will be disabled upon entry to the event, however, to promote student engagement, cameras should remain on.
  5. Attendance will be monitored at each event, regardless of the format.
