Are you driven by a desire to understand and influence the complex world of politics? The political science program at the University of Indianapolis offers a dynamic and engaging environment where students can explore the intricacies of political systems, public policies, and international relations. With a curriculum designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of political science, our program equips students with the tools they need to make a difference in the world.

I chose to attend the University of Indianapolis because I wanted a place that would challenge me academically and build a good sense of community. Our class sizes are intimate so there’s a lot of discussion instead of all-day lectures. Professors are always willing to work with me to meet my academic goals.

At UIndy, our political science program emphasizes experiential learning, ensuring that students gain real-world experience alongside their academic studies. From internships with local government agencies and non-profit organizations to opportunities to participate in political campaigns and legislative processes, our students are actively involved in the political landscape. These hands-on experiences not only enhance learning but also build a strong foundation for future careers in public service, law, international relations, and more.
