Move-In Day at the University of Indianapolis
We are so excited that you will be joining our Greyhound community! Please ensure you review the move-in information outlined below as you prepare to make your transition to campus.

When to Arrive
First-Year and Transfer Students
Residence Hall students*: First-year students should plan on moving to campus at their assigned time and date using the information below. Transfer students can move into residence halls beginning on Wednesday, August 20, at 9 a.m. that match the first-year students as they also participate in the welcome week activities.

Living-Learning Community Students: All accepted LLC students move into their assigned residence hall on Monday, August 18, between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
All bills must be paid or payment arrangements made before moving into the residence halls.
Commuter Students
You will check in at the Information Desk on Wednesday, August 20, between 12 and 2 p.m. At check-in, you will receive a copy of the Welcome Week schedule, obtain your meal vouchers, and engage with your Orientation Leaders.
Returning Students
Apartments - All returning and transfer students may move in on Tuesday, August 5 from 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Residence Halls - Move-in Day is Friday, August 22 beginning at 9 a.m. for returning upperclassmen. Students should check their UIndy email for specific move-in information.
What to Expect
When you arrive at UIndy, traffic directors will help you get to the unloading area for your residence hall. You'll then check-in and receive your keys and Welcome Week information. Please make sure that you arrive during your specified arrival time outlined above.
Need Last-minute Stuff?
It's inevitable. You checked and rechecked your packing list, only to arrive and find you've forgotten your toothbrush! No worries. Several stores, including Target, Meijer, Walmart, Kohl's, Sam's Club and the Greenwood Park Mall are all about 10 minutes or less from campus. Our address is 1400 E. Hanna Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46227, so you can look up directions to your favorite store.
