Students majoring in engineering at the R.B. Annis School of Engineering may be eligible for an up to $5,000 scholarship to UIndy.
Eligibility:
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, students must:

Have completed at least two PLTW courses in which you’ve received a B or higher.

The two classes must be taken in 10th grade or after. (If you are taking a PLTW course during your senior year, that would count as one of the two.)

Have at least a 3.0 cumulative high school GPA and apply and be admitted as a full-time freshman student by January 30.
You can receive up to four credits at UIndy for the R.B. Annis School of Engineering's 199, Pre-Engineering Experience course, by completing PLTW courses.
Eligibility:
Secondary school students from PLTW-certified schools may receive up to 4 credits for EGR 199, Pre-Engineering Experience, based on satisfying the following requirements:

Students must meet requirements for admission to UIndy.

Students must complete PLTW courses with a minimum grade of B or better.

Students must have completed up to four courses, with grades appearing on their high school or submitted college transcript.

Classes must be taken in 10th grade or after.

Principle of Engineering and Introduction to Engineering Design PLTW classes are not acceptable as classes that count towards credit.
The PLTW annual, scholarship is renewable for up to 8 semesters for full-time, day division, undergraduate students. In order for a UIndy student to review the PLTW scholarship, they must:
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Successfully complete 67% of credit hours attempted per year
- Comply with the rules & regulations of the university as outlined in the Student Handbook and University Academic Catalog
The University may, in its sole discretion, modify the terms and conditions of any scholarship program(s) between successive academic years and may institute a cap on the number of students who may receive any particular scholarship. The scholarship offered by the University is open only to 2021 and beyond high school graduates.
