IMPORTANT NOTES:

An on-campus DHSc orientation is required in mid-August prior to Year 1. This is typically a day-and-a-half-long event held from noon on a Friday through the end of the day on a Saturday.
An on-campus event of Dissertation Prep Sessions is required in mid-August prior to Year 2. This is typically a day-long event held on a Friday.
For information regarding the duration of courses and which half of the semester an accelerated course is offered, please refer to the HSCI Course Descriptions.

In addition to the courses listed below, students must complete 9 credits of electives when feasible in the schedule. Refer to the list of Potential Electives for Students in the DHSc Program and consult your Academic Advisor for more information.
