We put our "Education for Service" motto into practice every day, offering students countless ways to have a positive impact on the community and world. UIndy has even been nationally recognized — we've received the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching's Community Engagement Classification, and we're listed on the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll through the Corporation for National & Community Service. UIndy's Center for Service Learning and Community Engagement helps students find volunteer opportunities that meet their educational, career, and personal objectives. How will you make a difference?

One way for students be active in the community is by taking service learning courses. These are classes centered on different aspects of community service that usually involve hands-on service projects. Want to take it to the next level?
