Our Mission

Our mission is to develop, promote and foster innovative, high-quality services and technologies that advance the University's mission. We achieve this through collaborative partnerships with all UIndy's constituents. 

IT Departments

  • Data Architecture & Integrations is responsible for Banner, data reporting and analytics systems, and data integrations among these systems.
  • Enterprise Applications & Development is responsible for My UIndy (portal), mobile applications, and web application development. 
  • Network, Systems & Security maintains a comprehensive Information Security Program, providing technology processes, policies, and guidance in order to assess risk, control access, monitor activity, and respond to incidents. The goal of program is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of University assets and information resources. 
  • IT Help Desk is the source for technology support on campus. 
  • Technology Planning & Acquisitions is the centralized resource for all technology-related acquisitions for the campus. This includes maintaining the campus hardware inventory, software licensing and compliance information, and project management services to bring new or updated technology or technology services into the campus.
