There is nothing quite like the buzz of a room filled with passionate people sharing a common goal. On Thursday, June 25th, UIndy’s Health Pavilion was alive with that energy as CAC hosted our first annual summertime Bagels & Brew Open House. Over coffee & bagels, healthcare providers, nonprofit partners, community members, UIndy faculty, and friends of CAC gathered to connect, share ideas, and explore new ways to champion aging initiatives together.

Connecting Community and Innovation

The casual, drop-in format allowed attendees to easily come and go, making new connections and catching up with familiar faces. Throughout the morning, rolling displays highlighted some of CAC’s most impactful current initiatives. From the Caregiver Resource Group and Aging Resource Group to the 360 Leadership Review, attendees caught a firsthand glimpse of our latest programs to expand their understanding of our work. This has already opened doors and generated new ideas for exciting new collaborations.

Your Voice, Our Future Impact

A highlight of the morning was our interactive Feedback Stations where guests were asked to share their insights on where our community needs CAC’s support the most. The ideas and feedback poured in, helping us identify where to focus our future efforts.

Looking Ahead

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who brought their energy, ideas, and appetite to this year’s open house. Your insights will directly shape what CAC tackles next as we continue to be a catalyst for change, leading to a world in which all people age with dignity and optimal health.

If you missed this event, we hope you'll join us at our 25th Anniversary Celebration and Inaugural Aging Symposium on October 1st for fellowship, connection, and sharing ideas. Sponsorship opportunities are available now, and registration will open in the fall. Hope to see you there!
