Judging will open on September 19 at noon and close on September 20 at 6 p.m. Voting will be based on popularity and creativity, and winners will be announced at halftime of the Homecoming game. Work together, get creative, and let your school spirit stand out. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in this competition. 

Greyhound Pride Photo Challenge

Show off your spirit and join the Greyhound Pride Photo Challenge during Homecoming Week, September 15–20! Snap photos at Homecoming Headquarters, weekend events, and special campus spirit spots, then post them using #UINDYHOCO25 for a chance to win prizes. Each photo submitted earns you an entry into the raffle, with winners announced after the Homecoming game.

Kickstart the Homecoming festivities at an ice cream social just for current UIndy faculty and staff who are also UIndy grads. This is a great time to meet colleagues who share your unique connection to UIndy. What a sweet way to kick off homecoming week!

Join us on Smith Mall Friday night for a magical outdoor screening of Wicked! Families will receive vouchers for food and drinks to enjoy during this cozy evening under the stars. Bring your blankets, grab your favorite snacks, and embrace the ultimate Greyhound experience with us under the night sky.

Looking for the Hound Hustle?

This year's Hound Hustle, in partnership with Coach Hathaway's Running South, is on Monday, October 20. Additional details will be available soon. 

Grady 101: Pawsitive impacts

Enders Engagement Space, 11 a.m. to  12:30 p.m. 

Meet Grady and get to know him on a deeper level with Grady's handler, Coran Sigman. Learn more about Grady's journey to becoming UIndy's Hound and how you can get involved with the UIndy Live Mascot Program. Then, wrap up the experience with a hands-on service project in partnership with UIndy Paws! Students and families will make dog toys together and spend time with furry friends in the petting area. Give back, spread the love, and truly embody the spirit of being a Greyhound!

50-Year Reunion Lunch for the Class of 1975

Stierwalt Alumni House, 11 a.m. to  1 p.m. 

A Hound always finds its way home! The Indiana Central College Class of 1975 is invited to celebrate its 50th Reunion. Don’t miss your golden anniversary and a chance to reconnect with classmates and old friends during this special lunch. Advance registration is required for this event. ($12/person)

Stierwalt Alumni House, 1 to 4 p.m.

The Stierwalt Alumni House is available for alumni to rest between festivities and visit with fellow alumni and Greyhound families. Light refreshments will be provided.

Alumni Music Recital

Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center, 1 to 2 p.m. 

Enjoy the musical talents of UIndy alumni during this annual Alumni Recital. The concert will feature vocal and instrumental performances from talented UIndy alumni. If you are interested in performing, please contact Mitzi Westra at mwestra@uindy.edu.

Tailgate Town

Nicoson Hall Parking Lot, 2 p.m. 

All are encouraged to enjoy our Greyhound camaraderie at the biggest tailgate of the year – enjoy music and more as you gear up for the big game! Stroll through Tailgate Town to see familiar faces and meet new Greyhounds. Visit with faculty and staff at tailgating spots representing the School of Business, the College of Education and Behavioral Health, the Shaheen College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Health Sciences, Build, and more! Plus, participate in the Tailgate Decorating Contest to earn recognition as the most spirited tailgate spot. We can't wait to see how Hounds will participate!

President's Pep Rally

Shreve Atrium inside Schwitzer Student Center, 2 p.m.

Join us for the annual President’s Pep Rally, where we will celebrate Homecoming weekend with the University’s 10th president, Dr. Tanuja Singh. This special pep rally will bring all Greyhounds together to celebrate our UIndy spirit and support our student-athletes competing later that day. Join us for your favorite game-day drinks and snacks before you set up in Tailgate Town! This event is free to attend, but we ask that guests register in advance so we can provide the best guest experience.

Immediately following the President's Pep Rally, join us as we send our Greyhound athletes off to more Homecoming fun with the pride they deserve! Follow the UIndy Cheerleaders and Dance Team as they lead the way and march our Hounds out straight into the UIndy Block Party and Tailgate Town to get ready for the big game.

Meet with fellow Greyhounds on Saturday afternoon for the Homecoming Block Party! Celebrate with music from DJ Strick, food, games, photo booths, a bungee jump, and more. Explore RSO tables, visit the vintage store, and style your UIndy gear. Come ready for fun, food, and memories.

50-Year Club Dinner

Health Pavilion 2nd Floor, 4:30 to 6 p.m.

All graduates from the year 1974 or prior are invited to this special dinner to celebrate their time at Indiana Central and to welcome the Class of 1974 into the 50-Year Club. Advance registration is required for this event. ($15/person)

UIndy Football Vs. McKendree University

Key Stadium, 6 p.m. 

Don your favorite crimson and grey gear and help cheer the Greyhounds to victory over the McKendree University Bearcats. Plus, UIndy Student Affairs will announce the Royal Court at halftime. You don't want to miss it! Please visit athletics.uindy.edu to purchase your game tickets. 

UIndy's clear bag policy will be in effect to provide a safer environment for the public and to expedite fan entry into Key Stadium for Greyhound football.

UIndy Women's & Men's Soccer VS. Quincy 

Key Stadium, Noon and 2:30 p.m. 

End Homecoming & Family Weekend by heading out to Key Stadium one more time to support the UIndy Women's & Men's soccer teams. They'll look to finish the weekend with a dub over the Hawks from Quincy University. Go Greyhounds!
