• UIndy offers a Master of Science in Data Analytics (MSDA) degree program that is fully online.
  • A prep course is provided to students at the beginning of the program. Subjects covered include Business Statistics, MS-Excel, and Computer Programming.
  • Students earn three (3) professional certificates as part of their studies: Essentials of Data Analytics, Intermediate Data Analytics, and Advanced Data Analytics.
  • In the final course of the program, students apply material from all of the certificates to a commercial project or research effort.

All classes are delivered online to students in an asynchronous timeframe, meaning there are no specific meeting times for them.

The program is 30 credit hours (10 courses) and can be completed in as little as one year (full-time) or in two to three years (part-time).

View UIndy's Costs for Graduate Students webpage to find the MSDA program's cost per credit hour.

This is an exceptional value for an MSDA delivered in small class sizes, offering numerous commercial project and internship opportunities, and awarding several professional certifications.

You can complete the application online. You don't need to submit all required documentation in order to start your application.

The UIndy MSDA Program requires applicants to complete its online application, provide official transcripts from each university or college previously attended, submit a current resume in either PDF or MS-Word format, and pay a $50 application fee.

Because there is no residency requirement for this fully online Program, there are no additional requirements for international students.

Please note: The MSDA program does not qualify for international student visas due to its fully online nature.

UIndy operates on rolling admissions, so applicants are accepted throughout the year. We prefer to have all application materials at least 30 days before the start of the term in which you wish to enroll. Admission is based on program vacancies at the time of application, so earlier applications receive priority. Please email msda@uindy.edu with any questions.

The MSDA Program offers classes that start in August, January, and May each year. Following acceptance to the program, you can start at any one of these times.

UIndy's campus is located 10 minutes south of downtown Indianapolis and within 30 minutes of the majority of the city's metropolitan area. A map of the campus can be found at map.uindy.edu.
