Background
As content strategist at UIndy, Garrison is responsible for sourcing and creating high quality content designed to enhance University reputation, enrollment, fundraising and community impact. Garrison works collaboratively with his team to develop and implement the University’s communications strategy across a variety of print and digital channels.
Garrison arrived at UIndy in 2019 coming from Carmel-based enVista, a global software solutions and consulting services firm focused on enabling enterprise commerce for the world’s leading manufacturers, distributors and omni-channel retailers. At enVista, he managed content creation for the company’s different business units and solution areas as well as acted as a liaison between the marketing team and subject matter experts across the company.
Garrison has also spent time attending law school, working freelance for a public relations consulting firm and even teaching high school English.

Fun facts
- I started an adult rec soccer team in 2013 and we’ve since played over 300 games together in various leagues across the city (and in taking it too seriously I *might* keep stats on all our games). Go Gunners!

- I really enjoy cooking and have been known to spend too much money on random kitchen gadgets that I won’t use enough to justify the cost.
- I love to travel and spend time outdoors.

- When Loyola made the Final Four I drove 40 hours round trip to San Antonio to watch them play.

I really enjoy being on a college campus every day. You can feel the energy coming from everywhere around you, which makes it easy to do my job every day!
Kate Coffman

Background
As the Associate Vice President for University Marketing and Enrollment Strategy, Kate Coffman works with the Marketing and Communication team to develop and execute the University’s brand strategy. Kate also oversees the marketing to prospective students, specifically to grow UIndy’s enrollment. Kate manages the enrollment marketing vendor partner relationships. As the main project director on the Charting the Future grant, Kate also incorporates data analytics into our enrollment and retention strategies. Kate’s goal is to share the hallmark experiences of our UIndy students with prospective students and their families, helping them see all UIndy has to offer.
Prior to joining UIndy in 2019, Kate spent two decades in admissions, financial aid and college career readiness working at Franklin College, Indiana University, Butler University and the Indiana Youth Institute. Kate is trained as a Lean Six Sigma Black belt and loves to improve process to better serve our students and the campus community.

Favorite Thing About UIndy
Favorite thing about UIndy is the diversity of our student body. When you walk into the student center or a busy classroom building you see such a variety of cultures and religions not found at many other Indiana schools of this size.
Background
As the Videographer for The University of Indianapolis, Tanner works closely with the Marketing Specialist to create compelling video content that captures the essence of the Universities brand. His goal is to make every project unique and captivating by understanding the vision and bringing it to life through his expertise.
Tanner has been fortunate to work with a diverse range of companies in his 7+ years of experience, including the likes of Monster Energy, Bang Energy, Professional Fighting League, and many others. In this time, Tanner accumulated millions of views including a UFC Promo for Colby Covington that had over 3 million views. Before coming to Uindy in 2024, Tanner was a Producer at Monster Energy, overseeing and coordinating multiple large scale video projects for clients.

Favorite thing about UIndy
I love working with the passionate students, professors and the team around me. Its also amazing that there's always so many great Scholl events that I get to capture moments at that can last forever through video and photos. Plus seeing and interacting with all the wonderful people on campus.

Zack went to Anderson University to study sports marketing. During his time at Anderson, he picked up photography for fun. In his photography journey, he has done work for many different companies like Nascar, Audi, the Indiana State Museum, and the Athletic Annex. Over the years, Zack found that he really enjoys doing car photography which has led to him to grow a decent following on social media for car photography.

Background
Laura is a Junior Graphic Designer on the University’s Communications and Marketing team. In her role, she works closely with the marketing specialists to support each campus department to execute strategic design projects.
She graduated from Purdue University where she was the VP of the Purdue American Graphic Design Association Chapter. Before her current role, Laura worked as a Web Designer at one of America’s largest industrial shipping companies as well as an Associate Graphic Designer on a team of 7 at a marketing agency. No matter the size, Laura strives to be a team player, always looking to learn and make an impact on the community.

Background
As Communications and Public Relations Specialist, Tyler develops content that supports UIndy’s mission and brand by highlighting the achievements of the university’s students, faculty, staff, and alumni.
Tyler spent six years in television news, most recently serving as Sports Director at WAND-TV in Decatur, Illinois. His coverage included major sporting events such as the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, college football bowl games, and Illinois high school football state championships.

Ashley Keller
Marketing & Communications Manager for Shaheen College of Arts & Sciences
Background
As Director of Public and Media Relations for the University of Indianapolis, Dan is responsible for bringing the great stories of students, professors and administrators to a wider audience. Dan develops news coverage strategies by proactively pitching news stories as well as responding to requests from journalists.
Dan worked for more than 15 years as a TV anchor and reporter, most recently at WISH-TV. He's won numerous journalism, including 12 Emmy nominations in his career. Before coming to UIndy in 2023, Dan was the Communications & Community Relations Manager at Market Wagon, overseeing PR efforts for an online farmers market with local food hubs in almost 40 cities.

There are so many wonderful people doing wonderful things at the University of Indianapolis! As a journalist who loved telling unique and positive stories, it's pretty amazing to think that I get paid to share their work and passion projects with others. I also love working in an environment that is truly family-first.

Kaye started her career as a freelance graphic designer, creating logos, business cards, flyers, posters, and brochures for small businesses. She has also interned twice for WISH-TV, designing broadcast graphics. She mainly enjoys designing websites and has 15+ years of experience in web design and front-end web development.
Before working at the University of Indianapolis, Kaye worked as a Digital Designer for StarMedia, the digital advertising department for The Indianapolis Star. Now, she currently manages the University's main website with a strong focus on digital accessibility.

Background
Katelynn serves as a Marketing Associate and Assistant Mascot Handler at UIndy, where she helps tell the university's story through integrated marketing and communications. From supporting various academic departments to helping our live mascot, Grady the Greyhound, build Greyhound pride.
Katelynn’s professional background includes a mix of social media management, graphic design, and event marketing. After graduating from UIndy in 2025, she was thrilled to stay on campus and support her alma mater. Go Hounds!

As marketing and communications manager at UIndy, Tiffany is responsible for managing the integrated marketing and communications strategies for various university departments, schools and offices.
Prior to her role at UIndy, Tiffany worked in both PR and digital marketing agencies where she served numerous clients in the technology, education, healthcare, automotive and pharmaceutical fields. Her expertise includes media relations, community relations, content marketing, event planning, social media marketing and more.

Alie is the enrollment marketing specialist on the University’s Communications and Marketing team. In her role, Alie works closely with the UIndy Admissions team and the other Marketing Managers to strategize initiatives and execute projects.
She graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2021. She was involved in the Student Business Leadership Academy, AMA Collegiate Chapter, and was a 2021 500 Festival Princess. Before her current role, Alie worked for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the Client Services department, working with clients to plan their hospitality events.

Background
Coran serves as a marketing and communications manager where she assists the integrated marketing and communications needs for various departments. However, she has served the University in various roles for over seven years before transitioning into the Marketing and Communications office. She previously worked in the Office of Alumni Engagement and worked in partnership with the Office of Development, University Events and the Stephen F. Fry Professional Edge Center. She was the "Spirit of UIndy" staff award winner in 2020.
Coran also became the University Live Mascot Handler to Grady the Greyhound in 2019. Grady is the third live mascot in University history, but the first live mascot in nearly forty years. He is one of the only greyhounds to serve as a live mascot for a college or university in the country! Learn more about Grady or follow him on social media using @uindyhound.

UIndy changed my life as a student and has continued to do so as an employee. I love that we are the city's namesake university and a force to be reckoned with when it comes to hands-on experiences and industry experts. Bringing Grady to work every day is an added bonus. As Communications and Content Coordinator for UIndy, Troi is responsible for crafting engaging content for the university’s print and digital platforms to successfully recruit and retain UIndy students, faculty and staff.
Troi joined UIndy in 2022, after previously working in the Communications Department of the Indiana House Democratic Caucus. Outside of work, Troi lends her creative energy and communications experience to Hoosier Burn Camp, a nonprofit benefiting young burn survivors in Indiana.
