- Entrant must be a legal resident of the United States who is 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority) at the time of the drawing.
- Six winners will be drawn twice a year on or around June 1 and December 1.

- Essay Requirement: Reflect on a personal or academic challenge you’ve faced. How did you overcome it, and how has it shaped your goals or mindset going forward? (500–700 words, PDF format)
Using your outside scholarships
Have you received a scholarship from a community foundation, religious group, employer, and other organization? Congratulations! Follow these steps below to use your scholarship to help with your education at UIndy.
- Mail (or have your scholarship provider mail) your scholarship check to 1400 Hanna Avenue, ATTN: Office of Financial Aid, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.
- With the check, make sure to include the following:
- Your UIndy student ID number
- The name of the scholarship provider
- Any information on how the scholarship can be used (i.e., the money can only be used for tuition)
- Send in your information as soon as possible. Processing of outside scholarships can take up to two weeks.
Your outside scholarship will be included as part of your overall financial aid package. In most cases, your scholarship will be split evenly between Semester I and II.
