The Nursing LLC was created specifically for those who are interested in the nursing profession and are declared nursing majors. Designed to help prepare nursing students to apply for the UIndy Nursing program, the LLC gives students the opportunity to collaborate with faculty and staff in UIndy’s School of Nursing and engage in the learning outside of the classroom through luncheons, programs and field trips while learning how to work together beyond your first year through workgroups. The Nursing LLC connects students with the same passion for helping others which will create lasting friendships!
Research has consistently shown that students who participate in a Living-Learning Community experience a higher level of success both socially and academically then those who are not part of an LLC.
Living in the Nursing LLC has granted me many opportunities to enhance my team-building and leadership skills, all while providing a lively environment to prepare me for the nursing program.
