Belongspace: Intercultural Engagement Center
Here in the Intercultural Engagement Center we create space to embrace, engage and explore a rich history and diversity that reflects the faculty, staff and students of our campus community. We do so through intentional programming and events, exposure to the arts, and continued commitment to community engagement.
Murvin S. Enders Engagement Space
After a long career in business management at Chrysler Corp. and the Indianapolis Water Co, Mr. Enders leaned into his passion for service as the Executive Director for 100 Black Men of Indianapolis from 2005 - 2012, which is an organization that provides mentoring and educational programming for central Indiana youth each year. He graduated from Fisk University in 1962 and finished his MBA from UIndy in 1981, he later came into his role on the Board of Trustees in 1996. The Murvin S. Enders, Jr. Student Engagement Space and the programming provided within it exists to support inclusion and establish a sense of belonging for students on campus, and it is utilized by many offices on our campus.
