Information About our Alcohol and Drug Policy
for Students, Faculty & Staff
The University of Indianapolis strives to promote a healthy and safe environment for its students, faculty and staff. It is with this overall concern for the well-being of its campus that UIndy complies with guidelines presented in the Drug Free Schools and Communities Act Amendment of 1989 (Public Law 101-226) and responds to alcohol and tobacco-related concerns presented by the United Methodist Church during its general conference in May of 2000.
The University of Indianapolis Student Handbook, On-Campus Use of Alcohol Policy, Residence Hall Handbook & Policies, and the Apartment Handbook & Policies offers policies and statements related to alcoholic beverages, drug-related offenses and controlled substances.
