Engineering Licensure Disclosure
UIndy Bachelor of Science degrees in engineering do not directly lead to licensure of any kind, but may contribute toward licensing requirements in some states. If you plan to seek licensure in a particular state, you are encouraged to investigate the licensure requirements of that state. Graduates with UIndy undergraduate engineering degrees can take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, which is generally the first step in the process to becoming a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
