Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction (Non-STEM)
Make an impact.The Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction is designed for teachers who have completed 18 or more credit hours and need a master’s degree for credentialing.
Funding is available through Teach Dual Credit Indiana (TDCI) for dual credit teachers who need to complete a master’s degree and have completed 18 graduate credit hours in ANY content area through TDCI.

Teachers may transfer credits from the following content areas:
- Communications
- Economics
- English
- History
- Political Science
- Spanish
- French

The program can be completed in three semesters: Fall, Winter, and Summer. Courses are 100% online.

MA in Curriculum & Instruction (non-STEM) Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission to the Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction (non-STEM) program, you must:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in your major content area from a college or university that is accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.
- Have completed or are in the process of completing 18 graduate credits through Teach Dual Credit Indiana in one content area (if you are applying for a scholarship).
- Have completed or are in the process of completing 18 graduate credits (if you are paying your own tuition).
- Have access to transcripts to verify your bachelor’s degree and enrollment in 18 graduate dual credit courses from a college or university that is accredited by a recognized accrediting agency.
- Have earned an undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or higher from the baccalaureate degree-granting institution.
- Hold an Indiana teaching license; if you are out of state, then your state teaching license.
Tuition & Aid
