Kinesiology, Health & Sport Sciences Outstanding Alumni Award

 

Award Criteria and Nominations

The KHSS Outstanding Alumni Award is the department’s highest alumni award and is given to alumni who bring distinction to their alma mater through professional achievements and who have enjoyed a high level of success in their careers. Award recipients are honored at the College of Health Sciences Awards Event during the spring semester.

 

Award Eligibility and Criteria

  • Nominees must have at least one degree from the UIndy Department of Kinesiology, Health & Sport Sciences.
  • Nominees must have achieved a high level of success within their chosen field of endeavor, which is exemplified by having attained increasingly responsible positions, and have been recognized by their peers.
  • Preference will be given to nominees who are currently or have been active in employment related to their UIndy KHSS degree.
  • Preference will be given to nominees who have participated in community activities as well as activities supporting KHSS and have given distinguished service to their profession, to UIndy, and/or to their community.
  • Award recipients are expected to engage in college-related events during the CHS Awards event.
