Q: How am I going to afford UIndy?

A: Most UIndy students receive some form of Financial Aid. Oftentimes, we can get our costs down to what public universities cost. Our merit scholarships range anywhere from $10,000-$20,000 off of tuition, and we offer so many other types of grants, scholarships, and loans. We also offer comparable full tuition scholarships for 21st Century Scholars. The Offices of Admissions and Financial Aid are here to help you figure out all things financial aid. Please reach out to us if you have any questions!

Best Advice for Prospective Students

Never be afraid to use your network. Find any opportunity to connect with people who work in the profession you're interested in. Shadow them for a day, pick their brain, and get a true perspective of what the day-to-day looks like. Visit small, mid, and large scale schools as many times as you see fit. If you don't get that "feeling" you know it's not the one.

Q: How much does it cost to attend UIndy?

A: While UIndy is a private institute, we offer very competitive financial aid packages. Be sure to complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by the state deadline (April 15) and work with your admissions counselor so you have a good understanding of your aid package. Most importantly, ask questions!

Q: How will my credits transfer to UIndy?

A: We can generally accept credits from any regionally accredited US school. If you have a question about a specific class or classes, I am always happy to check with our faculty if they can make an exception to accept certain credits. We do our best to maximize your transfer credits and reward you for the hard work you've already put into your college experience!

Q: Where will I live at UIndy? 

A: As a Freshman, 80% of students live on campus, and we have 3 different dorms. All of our dorms have AC, WiFi, laundry, a kitchenette, and rec areas. Living on campus is the best way to get connected to your university, and make lifelong connections!
