Change is coming, and that’s okay. Embrace it.
You don't successfully serve as the mayor of a major U.S. city without having a healthy perspective and a fair bit of wisdom. In his upcoming summit, former Indianapolis Mayor and UIndy Fellow, Greg Ballard, leads a discussion on dealing with change in a positive way. The event features several sessions on how to manage the pace of change together by embracing it and covers a variety of topics–from the evolution of sports to celebrating failure. It's an incredible learning opportunity for UIndy students as they prepare for their own exciting and uncertain futures.
Activities begin at 10:00 a.m. (EST) and conclude at approximately 2:15 p.m. Mayor Ballard will provide the keynote address and students will attend two afternoon sessions. All attendees will also have their photo taken with Mayor Ballard and are invited to participate in a question and answer session. Lunch is provided, and there is no cost to the students beyond normal travel expenses.
