NEW FRESHMEN

The Office of the Registrar generally receives official AP scores digitally from the College Board for new freshmen. Once the official scores are received, they are uploaded to the student's test score information, and then evaluated and entered for transfer credit for those students who have earned passing scores. Students who have earned transfer credit for their AP scores will receive a Transfer Articulation email notification from UIndy with an attached articulation report. Students should review their articulation report to ensure that they are not registered for a course for which they have earned transfer credit. If so, students should contact their advisor as soon as possible to discuss other course registration options that best fit their academic objectives.

RETURNING OR TRANSFER STUDENTS

If you are a returning or transfer student, you may have your official AP score report sent to the Office of the Registrar for official evaluation. Once your digital report is received, credit will be awarded for exams with passing scores. You will receive a Transfer Articulation notification email with an attached transfer articulation report.

Students must submit an official transcript of their courses from the partner institution of their dual- enrollment courses to UIndy in order to get credit. Students should have their official transcript sent to the Office of the Registrar (registrar@uindy.edu). NOTE: Credit may not be awarded based on the information provided on the student's high school transcript.

Visit the Office of the Registrar, Esch 131, or email veterans@uindy.edu.

Current students can view their unofficial transcript online at MyUIndy > Self-Service Students > Academic Transcript.  Unofficial transcripts are not available for order through the Office of the Registrar.

Current and former students can order their transcripts online. UIndy offers official transcripts via secure electronic PDF and print transcripts for all students.

When registering for classes, enter the CRN for the course that you would like to be on the waitlist, and click Submit Changes. Click on the drop-down menu that appears for that class, and select Waitlist from the list. Click on Submit Changes again. The class will appear in your class schedule with a status of WW(Waitlisted).

The student schedule available in MyUIndy > Self-Service Students > Student Profile > Week at a Glance will show the days and times of classes. The key for the days of the week are: M = Monday, T = Tuesday, W = Wednesday, R = Thursday, F = Friday.

NOTE: A registration code is not required for students when registering for Spring Term or Summer Session.
