Wedding Event Insurance

All clients who host their events at the University of Indianapolis must provide proof of insurance. To help make the insurance procurement process easier, the University has established a relationship with TULIP, an online program that is meant to provide an easy path for insuring most types of events and activities at the University of Indianapolis. TULIP stands for Tenant Users Liability Insurance Policy and protects both the facility user and the University of Indianapolis from claims by third parties who may be injured or who lose property as a result of participating in an event.

This coverage is mandatory for all third parties who hold events in University facilities, whether it's a low-risk event such as a classroom seminar, reception or wedding, or higher -risk events such as a festival, sporting event, or rock concert. Insurance certificates must be at the University of Indianapolis two weeks prior to your event.
