The University of Indianapolis has several events and programs to introduce new students and their families to UIndy and to help students make a smooth transition to college life.

Summer Registration Days—During these one-day events, students and families participate in several orientation activities, including placement testing, class registration and information sessions about many aspects of college life.

Welcome Week—The week begins with Move-In Day for new students and includes several days of activities to help new students acclimate to life at UIndy.
