Ivy Tech students transferring into Criminal Justice at UIndy will be joining one of the longest-running programs in the state. The first Indiana Law Enforcement Academy was held on UIndy’s campus in 1969, and the Criminal Justice area of study was first established as a major in 1972.

Students studying Criminal Justice at UIndy will:

  • Have the option to participate in the CRIM 320 Criminalistics lab in the only university-run crime house of its kind in the state of Indiana - located right on our campus
  • Experience a senior capstone focusing on job readiness and practical application of criminal justice theory and research
