Ivy Tech Distinguished Transfer

Ivy Tech Community College applicants can qualify for guaranteed admission to UIndy and receive a merit scholarship award of at least $18,000 per year if they:

  • Graduate with an associate’s degree in an approved Ivy Tech-UIndy Transfer-as-a Junior Pathway 
  • Have a college GPA of at least 3.0
  • Are enrolled full-time at the University of Indianapolis

**Guaranteed admission applies to admission to the University in general and is not a guarantee of admission into a specific program which have separate applications (nursing, PTA, Respiratory Therapy, Social Work.

**Ivy Tech students with a GPA of 2.0-2.99 are still eligible for admission and certain merit scholarships through the standard transfer process, including 2+2 transfer pathways.


**Merit award minimum is based on the following: the minimum transfer award for a 3.0-3.49 GPA is $15,000 + stackable Ivy Tech Completion Scholarship of $2,000 per year + stackable TSAP Connection Award of $1,000 per year. All awards based on 2026-2027 scholarship amounts.
