- CSL 150 – Introduction to Community Service-Learning (3)
- CSL 450 – Topical Seminar: Civic Engagement and Community Leadership (Capstone Experience/Project; Cross-listed with SOC 401) (3)
elective Courses
Choose two of the following:
- INTD 301 – ST: Multicultural Competence through Leadership and Service (3)
- ST 299 – Service-Learning Focused Course (prior approval required from the Center for Service-Learning & Community Engagement) (3)*
- CSL 480 – Topical Seminar (3)
* A reflective essay must be written to complete the concentration. Contact the Director of the Center for Service-Learning & Community Engagement for more information about the reflective essay.
* If a non Service-Learning Spring Term Course has been completed please contact the Director of the Center for Service-Learning & Community Engagement for a list of alternatives.
NOTE: A grade of C- (1.7 on a 4.0 scale) or higher is required in all courses applying toward the CELS concentration.
This program may require attendance for both days and extended class programs.
