UIndy HoundsConnect

HoundsConnect is UIndy’s service platform for students, faculty, staff, and community partners. Through HoundsConnect, students can find volunteer opportunities, track service hours, and store their service-learning records in one place. Faculty can also use the platform to connect with community organizations and support service-learning course objectives. Community partners can create profiles, share volunteer needs, and connect with UIndy students who want to serve.

Create Your HoundsConnect Account

Students, Faculty, and Staff

1. Visit HoundsConnect
2. Click Sign Up
3. Log in or register using your UIndy credentials
4. Complete your profile information
5. Click Create Your Account

Community Partners

1. Visit HoundsConnect
2. Click Click here to register your agency or group
3. Complete the agency registration form
4. Add your contact information and organization details
5. Create your password
6. Submit the form to register your organization

Once your organization is registered, students, faculty, and staff can view and respond to your volunteer or service opportunities.

How Students Add Service Hours

After creating an account, students can log in and add their completed service hours.

1. Log into HoundsConnect
2. Complete any required profile information
3. Click Add Hours
4. Enter the date served, hours completed, and project details
5. Include where you volunteered and a short description of what you did
6. Submit the hour entry
7. Review your submitted hours under Track Hours
