Traditional 2+2 Transfer Degree Programs
These programs are specifically designed for VU students of Transfer Single Articulation Pathway (TSAP) programs who wish to continue education toward earning their bachelor's degree at UIndy as a traditional four-year student. Students with TSAP associate's degrees may transfer to UIndy in junior status and utilize their credits toward major or general education course requirements.

UIndy offers the following traditional undergraduate Vincennes University 2+2 Transfer Degree Programs:
Students who have earned an Associate of Science in Business TSAP degree from Vincennes University can transfer into one of five concentrations in UIndy’s School of Business:
Vincennes University students who graduate with an Associate of Science in Biological, Biomedical Sciences - Exercise Science Concentration could transfer to UIndy's Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science as a junior.
UIndy exercise science students have access to many academic and professional opportunities and outcomes, including:
- High acceptance rates to kinesiology and sport science graduate programs.
- Use of the Human Performance Laboratory for coursework and research.
- Potential internship and career opportunities with organizations such as the Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, NCAA, American Heart Association, the National Institute of Fitness and Sports (NIFS), and more.
- Support of the Kinesiology, Health & Sport Science Advisory Board which includes representatives from industry leaders such as American College of Sports Medicine, Ascension St. Vincent Sports Performance Center, Indiana Sports Corp., USA Track & Field, and Indy Eleven Professional Soccer.
- Options to become a Certified Personal Trainer or Certified Exercise Physiology through the American Colleges of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or Certified Strength & Conditions Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
Vincennes University students transferring to study International Relations at the University of Indianapolis will:
- Take in-depth research-based courses that explore international issues.
- Participate in multi-disciplinary curriculum which gives you a broad understanding of the political, social and economic evolution of the international system in the 20th century.
- Receive opportunities for first-hand experience with local and national organizations such as Exodus Refugee Project, the FBI, CIA, and Amnesty International.
- Join other UIndy International Relations graduates have been employed in NGOs around the country, ranging from positions like ethics specialist at the USDA to women's protection and empowerment manager at the International Rescue Committee in Washington, DC.
Vincennes University students who graduate with an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering could transfer to UIndy's Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Curriculum integrated with hands-on lab experiences to emphasize connections between fundamental engineering analysis and practical engineering design
- Offers real-world engineering experiences through client-driven projects and national competitions
- Prepares graduates for a variety of job opportunities upon graduation including manufacturing, energy, aerospace, defense, technology, construction and more
Vincennes University students transferring to study Political Science at the University of Indianapolis will:
- Participate in coursework that explores social and historical aspects of state, local, and national politics.
- Explore potential careers in government positions at federal, state, and local levels, in media, as a social researcher, or prepare for continued education opportunities such as law school.
Students who have earned an Associate of Science in Psychology from Vincennes University who wish to obtain a Bachelor of Science (or Arts) degree in Psychology from UIndy will:
- Gain a strong foundation and explore the scientific study of behavior and mental processes, including the biological bases of thought
- Learn how people develop the various psychological disorders, and how they are assessed and treated
The need for public health education specialists is on the rise. Graduates from Vincennes University with an Associate of Science degree in Education-Health Promotion/Health Education Concentration wishing to earn a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education and Promotion from UIndy will:
- Gain the knowledge and skills to carry out organized missions for weight management, disease and illness prevention, proper nutrition, exercise, and other community health issues
- Explore the opportunity to learn directly from practitioners in hospitals, clinics, wellness centers, and other worksites
Vincennes University students transferring to study Social Work in the Phylis Lan Lin Department at UIndy will:
- Become part of a program that is educating professionals and ethical generalist social work practitioners in an interdisciplinary environment to meet the needs of evolving city, state, national, and global communities with attention to serving vulnerable and oppressed groups.
- Gain the knowledge base to work, live, and pursue economic and social justice in a diverse and global society through scientific thinking, critical inquiry, and ethical decision-making.
- Courses focus on diversity, values and ethics, populations at risk, and social and economic justice
