Mission

The Department of Interprofessional Health and Aging Studies (IHAS) at the University of Indianapolis offers an undergraduate certificate in aging studies, a master’s program in aging studies, a doctorate in health sciences, and graduate certificates in aging studies, healthcare administration and leadership, and health professions education. Our mission is to prepare graduates to serve individuals, groups, businesses, and communities across the life course as leaders, educators, and scholars. Our programs foster excellence in professionalism and evidence-based practice through a focus on critical inquiry, interprofessional collaboration, and high ethical standards.
